Dr Rathod was absolutely fantastic. I suffered a miscarriage but from my first appointment he was reassuring and understanding and very clear in outlining the next steps for me. Before my appointments and when I had the surgery, he always took time to explain things to me and never seemed in a rush which was very comforting. My surgery went well and my recovery has been smooth and I’m very grateful to have had dr Rathod provide the medical for me during this difficult time.

My second son has been delivered at the very end of the year to Queens hospital. I was very lucky to have Mr Kunal Rathod as a consultant. When we’ve just met and discussed the delivery options he supported my preference to have a c-section due to my previous very traumatic experience although explained other options. He has been very attentive and provided good clear guidance in terms of next steps, possible issues etc which helped to get better clarity and understanding. In the last month, I have developed a liver condition and needed to get a c-section earlier. So Mr. Rathod still managed to get it scheduled as early as possible. On the day of the c-section, the doctors came to see me and discussed the details of the surgery, anaesthesia, detailed labour procedure and post-recovery process. My c-section went very well and my son was born healthy. We were even able to be discharged the next day. So I can’t express how grateful I am to doctor Rathod and all the incredible members of staff at Queens Hospital.

Mr Rathod’s is an excellent consultant who I was pleased to have in my third pregnancy. He really took the time to listen to my concerns, was able to reassure me and was very thorough. He also performed my C section and showed continued support following the procedure. We are so grateful for having such a caring and skilled surgeon and felt he went above and beyond. From a personal perspective, the operation felt very smooth and a very positive experience. The postnatal midwives have consistently commented on how neat and discrete the scar is and the wound has given me minimal concern or pain and recovery has been very speedy. My husband and I are so grateful for such a positive experience of our last pregnancy, thanks to Mr Rathod.

We had our second baby by elective section 4 weeks ago at Queen’s Hospital. Mr Kunal Rathod was my Consultant and we have nothing but praise for him. He was a fantastic surgeon, has an excellent bedside manor and the after care was exceptional. He is an excellent doctor who is highly skilled . I have a very neat scar and was pain free from day 3.We were so appreciative and are so thankful. Having a baby during Covid times was stressful but the whole process was made stress free by him and the staff in the maternity department. Thank you so much!
